About the beach here...

Matemwe is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. How do you disagree with this real postcard landscape? Long and wide, the beach is bordered on one side by turquoise water, and on the other by coconut trees and other exotic trees offering natural shade. Here, despite the boom in tourism, we still live fishing. You can also explore the seabed by scuba diving or snorkelling and meet exotic and colourful species. Throughout these 10 kilometers of beaches, the local culture remains largely preserved and the inhabitants do everything to maintain their way of life.
