Unguja Lodge is situated at the Southern tip of Zanzibar, near Kizimkazi Mkunguni. It is a very quiet part of the island with pristine beaches and lush green surroundings. That lodge has 12 spacious self-contained cottages. Some of them have a sea view and a private terrace overlooking the Menai Bay. At the restaurant, everything is made from scratch, even the crisps and the bread rolls. Being so close to the sea his specialty is obviously fish and seafood but you can also choose meat or a vegetarian meal.

About the beach here...
This place is known for being the starting point for sea excursions to meet dolphins, that we do not recommend to do because it is not sustainable. These tours don't respect the Menai Bay Conservation Area guidelines which we follow.
However, you can enjoy the fine white sand, the turquoise water and watch the fishermen come back from their fishing.
